President’s Statement  —  September 2026

Dear Colleagues,

I hope everyone is having a great summer!

I’m excited to share that SFVMA recently held our first joint wet lab, and it was a great success. It was wonderful to offer our members the opportunity for hands-on learning and collaboration in a more interactive setting. We’re hoping this will be the first of many opportunities to incorporate wet labs and other practical educational experiences into our programming in the future.

For our upcoming meeting, we’re excited to welcome Dr. Stephen Jones for a presentation on “Novel Joint Replacement Surgery and the Importance of Post-Surgical Rehabilitation for Best Outcome.” This is a fascinating and increasingly relevant topic, and I’m looking forward to learning more about advances in joint replacement surgery as well as the critical role rehabilitation plays in helping our patients achieve the best possible outcomes.
